Power of Convergence

A) Mental (Thoughts and Cognition)
B) Physical (Body & Physiology)
C) Emotional (Nerve Energy & Psychology)

Every experience is assessed through all these three levels of existence without any particular order. Now each of this level of awareness has force field that can either be in harmony or in conflict with the rest of the force fields. For example something might make perfect mental sense but does not feel right in the deep down physical or gut level. Or some thoughts may provoke certain level of physiological discomfort or altered states and the opposite is true.

Research in the area of Nero cognition, Nero behavior, and development psychology has indicated the mirror neuron effect of an event or experience on individual. So for the experience to be fully engaging and long lasting it must be felt in all three levels of reality.

So how can we use this knowledge in our daily lives. It is imperative to understand that if we seek change and improvement in any area of our lives an engagement in all of these three areas is paramount. When we have a mental construct and can not demonstrated it physically and can not demonstrate it with psychological significance the nervous system does not register it as a worth while experience based on a survival scale of  1 to 10. Based on an evolutionary soft wiring the events gets imprinted and becomes permanent when it is felt in all three levels and the event’s significance is registered as valuable for future coping and survival opportunities.

So next time we think why we can not change behavior or improve an existing one, we must think of the power of convergence of all these three fields.
